We have been an AWS Advanced Partner since 2016 with clear goals to become a Premier Partner in 2025.About the Position : We are seeking a Principal AWS Solution Architecture Consultant who will be instrumental in guiding clients through their cloud migration, modernization and transformation journey, leveraging the power of AWS, complementary ISVs like Snowflake, and AI. This key role requires a balance of deep technical expertise, strategic business insight, and consulting prowess to help clients innovate, optimize, and transform their business operations through modern cloud technologies and AI-driven solutions.Roles and ResponsibilitiesSupport clients in developing cloud architecture strategies centered on AWS, aligning these solutions with clients' business objectives to drive innovation, scalability, and efficiencySupport clients in developing migration and modernization journeys, leveraging AWS programs like the Migration Acceleration Program (MAP), Well-Architected Framework, or Immersion DaysArchitect and design cloud-native solutions that optimize performance, cost, and security while ensuring alignment with clients' strategic goals and product roadmapsCollaborate with client stakeholders to understand their business challenges and objectives, ensuring that solutions are tailored to address real business needs while leveraging cutting-edge AWS servicesEvaluate and recommend the most effective AWS cloud solutions and AI technologies for each project, ensuring scalability, security, and cost-efficiency, identify and mitigate potential architectural and technological risks in cloud deployments, ensuring the implementation of secure, resilient, and scalable solutionsPromote AWS best practices and standards in architecture, security, and deployment, ensuring robust, AI-enhanced, and scalable cloud solutions for clientsStay ahead of industry trends in AWS portfolio, complementary ISVs and cloud computing, driving innovation by sharing knowledge with clients and internal teams through thought leadership and active contribution to organizational growthBe a visible thought leader by authoring blogs, presenting at industry conferences, and leading internal and external knowledge-sharing initiativesDocument architectures, assessments, and recommendations in detailed, actionable reports that provide clear, business-aligned strategies for cloud adoption and AI integrationCollaborate across teams to enhance and expand the organization’s cloud architecture capabilities, mentoring junior engineers, fostering continuous learning, and strengthening consulting and cloud engineering practicesCompetencies We Are Looking For : Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cloud Engineering, or a related field preferred10 years of experience in cloud solution architecture with a focus on AWS and cloud-native technologiesProven expertise in AWS services and partner programsAWS certifications required : Architect (or Devops) Pro (or Associate) requiredExperience with AWS data pipeline / ETL tools and integration with Snowflake preferredExperience in AI-driven cloud solutions and applying AI / ML technologies to enhance cloud architecturesProven consulting experience with the ability to translate technical solutions into business value for diverse stakeholdersProven experience succeeding in an environment with a high degree of context switching5 years of hands-on experience in AWS architecture design, migrations, modernizations, cloud security, performance optimization, and cost managementStrong leadership skills with a history of mentoring teams, leading solution design, and delivering complex cloud projectsExcellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex cloud and AI solutions to both technical and non-technical audiencesAbility to travel occasionally for client meetings or industry eventsWhat we offer : Great salary and benefits - Health (HDHP & PPO Plans), dental, and vision insurance, HSA, EAP, as well as a 401k with company matchWork / life balance - Ippon offers generous PTO, parental leave and medical leaves, and flexible schedulesA fun, creative, and healthy work environment, focused on teamwork, knowledge-sharing, and exceptional deliveryOpportunities to expand your portfolio and work with different companies and industriesCareer growth, up-skilling, cross training and leadership opportunitiesWe value the diversity and different perspectives each of our employees bring to Ippon Technologies.Ippon Technologies is an equal opportunity employer.
