Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and knowledgeable professional to provide expert technical support for removable dental prosthetics. This role is primarily focused on assisting dental professionals with case planning, troubleshooting, and ensuring optimal outcomes for patients—rather than direct hands-on fabrication. The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in dental laboratory setting and a strong ability to communicate effectively with dentists and technicians.
Key Responsibilities:
- Technical Expertise & Case Consultation:
- Serve as the primary technical resource for dentists, offering guidance on case planning, material selection, and troubleshooting issues related to fit, function, and aesthetics.
- Provide recommendations for improving case outcomes and ensuring patient satisfaction.
- Quality Assurance & Compliance:
- Review case prescriptions and completed work to ensure adherence to high-quality standards and industry regulations.
- Identify and resolve any technical concerns before final delivery to patients.
- Training & Mentorship:
- Offer training and ongoing support to dental professionals and technicians on best practices, emerging trends, and innovative techniques in removable prosthetics.
- Facilitate knowledge-sharing sessions to enhance team expertise.
- Process & Workflow Optimization:
- Evaluate current workflows and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and product quality.
- Stay up to date with advancements in dental technology and help integrate new solutions as needed.
- Collaboration & Communication:
- Act as the key liaison between the dental laboratory and dentists, ensuring clear and accurate communication regarding case requirements and expectations.
- Address concerns, answer technical questions, and provide solutions to improve overall case outcomes.
- Inventory Oversight:
- Monitor and manage materials inventory to ensure necessary resources are readily available for the removables department.
- Assist with ordering processes to maintain efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
Requirements:
- Dental laboratory experience is a must.
- Extensive years of experience in removable dental prosthetics, with a strong background in technical support and case consultation.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills to effectively assist dental professionals.
- Strong knowledge of industry standards, materials, and fabrication techniques.
- Ability to train and mentor others in best practices and technical advancements.
- Familiarity with digital workflows and emerging technologies in dental prosthetics is a plus.
