Purpose of the Job
This Project Manager(PM) role will provide superior project management skills in support of key legacy hardware and software refresh related to a formal product end-of-life designation by our business. The PM will work closely with our internal product, sales, and services project working groups, as well as resellers, integrators, and customers toward the achievement of this refresh for the identified accounts. The PM will report directly to the Manager, PS Services, who is the Project Lead for this sales and services campaign. The PM will manage multiple small to mid-complex projects simultaneously, and own projects through all phases from start to finish, including developing and maintaining detailed project plans, schedules, and reporting, evaluating and implementing process initiatives, keeping key collaborators and stakeholders aligned, creating process improvement plans where needed resulting in better work efficiency and customer satisfaction for attaining the targeted product refresh sales and services goals for the business.
Key Accountabilities
- Plan, coordinate, and manage all aspects of complex product and information technology projects.
- Analyze, plan, and develop requirements and standards in reference to scheduled projects.
- Organizational and time management skills to develop, start, track, and successfully deliver all projects on time and on budget.
- Assign and oversee the daily tasks of working group personnel while ensuring all collaborators are actively working toward established milestones.
- Determine and define clear deliverables, roles and responsibilities for collaborators required for specific projects and related initiatives and milestones.
- Hold regular cadence meetings to determine progress and address any questions or challenges regarding projects.
- Build relationships with key stakeholders and project resources to drive key decisions and ensure timely project completion.
- Ensure internal and external needs are addressed promptly and professionally related to the customer.
- Develop and provide accurate reporting and metrics for internal and external customer-facing requirements.
- Continually assess existing quality processes including areas of improvement and ensure that the team has actionable data to continuously maintain SLA adherence, customer satisfaction, and business achievement.
- To act as a first point of contact for all problems, obstacles, and opportunities on a project.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
This position requires up to 25% travel.
