We are looking for a dedicated Senior Project Controller/Scheduler to join our talented team at our office located in Emeryville, California.
In this role, you will develop, progress, and forecast all phases of the project schedule/plan using the most current industry practices and software. You will provide planning leadership and integrate with engineering, procurement, cost, technical & construction disciplines for seamless reporting to ensure effective Capital Project Delivery.

Additional Responsibilities
- Develop, monitor, and update project plans and schedules encompassing the entire engineering, procurement, construction, and qualification (EPCQ) life cycle.
- Analyze schedule input from project partners including clients, internal teams, vendors, and contractors to verify schedule durations and integrity as well as evaluate the logic and float paths.
- Assure the credibility of the information in the master schedule.
- Collaborate with estimating & cost control to resource/cost load schedules as required.
- Collaborate with the team to support constructability and value engineering.
- Monitor schedule progress, deviations, and variances, and assesses impacts on the critical/near-critical path activities.
- Assist in developing alternatives for corrective action.
- Perform job-site walks to verify the physical progress of scheduled activities and analyze change orders for schedule impacts.
- Prepare schedule progress reports, trending charts, and schedule analysis.
- Maintain a record of scope changes, trends, and variances that potentially affect schedule performance.
- Collaborate with all groups to improve company processes, systems, and intellectual infrastructure to promote organizational learning and continuous improvement.
Qualifications & Requirements
- 7 years of experience as a planner/scheduler on facilities capital projects.
- Ability to generate earned value, SPI, CPI, and other schedule performance metrics.
- Demonstrated knowledge of engineering, procurement, construction, and qualification (EPCQ) processes in the Pharma/Bio-tech Industry.
- Has understanding of engineering, construction methodologies, and technical documentation.
- Demonstrated expertise in the use of modern planning and scheduling principles, methodologies, techniques, and tools including CPM, Last Planner, 4D, etc.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Primavera P6 Planner, Microsoft Project as well as MS Office Suite programs (MS Excel, MS Access, Power BI, etc.).
- BS degree in engineering or related technical field, construction management, or applicable experience.
- PMI, AACEI, or other industry certifications.
- Knowledge of vPlanner, BIM 360, and other visual & collaborative planning tools.
- This position will have 25% travel, or as required by the assigned project.
- You may be assigned to a client site for an extended period of time.
- Overnight travel or staying in the city of the Client’s location is possible depending on the assignment.
- You will visit Client sites and will be required to adhere to stated safety rules.
- This position is considered a safety-sensitive position.
