Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Medical Laboratory Technician to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in performing laboratory tests and analyses that aid in the diagnosis and treatment of patients.
Duties
- Conduct routine laboratory tests, including but not limited to blood chemistry, immunoassays, hematology, coagulations, urinalysis, and urine drug screens.
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment while ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
- Analyze test results and prepare reports for physicians and healthcare providers.
- Utilize Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) for data entry and management.
- Monitor vital signs as necessary during sample collection processes.
- Collaborate with other medical professionals to ensure accurate diagnosis and treatment plans.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laboratory workspace.
- Stay updated on advancements in laboratory techniques and medical terminology.
Skills
- Proficient in medical terminology relevant to laboratory practices.
