We are seeking a highly data, digitally driven, passionate, and self-motivated individual to join our Data, Digital & Analytics Center of Excellence (DDA COE) team as Director, Omnichannel Strategy & Execution Lead.
The Director, Omnichannel Strategy & Execution Lead will be responsible for developing and implementing omnichannel strategies that drive seamless, personalized, and data-driven customer experiences across North America. Partnering closely with Commercial, Medical, and Digital teams, this leader will ensure alignment with Ipsen’s enterprise goals while enabling therapeutic area teams to deliver impactful, innovative engagements across Oncology, Rare Diseases, and Neuroscience. This role is a key driver in advancing Ipsen’s ambition to become a leader in omnichannel excellence by leveraging data, digital and analytics to inform customer-centric execution.
This position is based in Cambridge, MA and is not a remote position.

The pay range displayed above is the range of base pay compensation within which Ipsen expects to pay for this role at the time of this posting. Main Responsibilities And Job Expectations
- Design and execute an omnichannel orchestration strategy aligned with Ipsen’s overarching business objectives and therapeutic priorities.
- Own campaign operations across websites and omnichannel campaigns, ensuring seamless execution and alignment with strategic goals.
- Establish and enforce standards and best practices for collaboration with 3rd-party agencies, ensuring consistency, quality, and compliance.
- Serve as the single point of contact for new digital projects or enhancements, providing Ensure all digital and omnichannel initiatives have appropriate oversight, engaging the right internal and external stakeholders.
- Coordinate program updates and progress reports for leadership, highlighting key milestones, risks, and outcomes.
- Maintain comprehensive ownership of digital and omnichannel playbooks and processes for North America, ensuring documentation reflects best practices and evolving industry standards.
- Oversee the creation, deployment, and optimization of customer journeys that leverage multiple digital and traditional channels.
- Partner with marketing, sales, and medical teams to align touchpoints with customer needs, therapeutic objectives, and compliance standards.
- Develop and manage an omnichannel calendar to ensure seamless integration of campaigns, events, and engagement initiatives
- Partner with analytics teams to define, track, and report KPIs for omnichannel performance and ROI.
- Partner with the analytics team on advanced analytics to inform engagement strategies, identify opportunities, and optimize customer interactions.
- Drive adoption of innovative tools, technologies, and platforms to enhance omnichannel capabilities.
- Lead change management efforts to ensure teams are equipped to execute within an omnichannel framework.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to cross-functional teams, bridging gaps between strategy, data, and execution.
- BA/BS is required; MBA or advanced degree in a related field is strongly preferred.
- 10 years in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry, with deep experience in omnichannel marketing, customer engagement, or digital transformation.
- Proven success in developing and leading cross-functional omnichannel strategies within therapeutic areas such as Oncology, Rare Diseases, and Neuroscience.
- Expertise in integrating data-driven insights to inform decision-making and execution.
- Strong leadership and influencing skills to drive alignment across diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Ability to think strategically and act tactically, balancing long-term vision with immediate execution needs.
- Proficiency in navigating complex organizational structures and ensuring stakeholder buy-in.
- Local to the Cambridge, MA area with ability to work from the office 2-3 days per week, on average
- Experience with CRM, CMS, marketing automation platforms, and content management systems (Drupal, Veeva, Salesforce, Marketing Cloud, Healthcloud,, Onetrust)
- Strong ability to leverage analytics tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) to guide omnichannel planning and optimization.
- Proficiency in designing and implementing multichannel customer experiences.
- Knowledge of industry regulations (e.g., FDA, GDPR, HIPAA) related to digital engagement.
- Strong project management experience, demand management and prioritization
- Expertise in managing complex projects, timelines, and cross-functional teams to deliver results.
- Ability to manage vendors, contracts and budget activities required
- Excellent influencing skills, with demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and effectively with key business partners, IT leadership teams, and external service providers

Salary : $177,000 - $260,000
