Position Overview
Coordinates all activities required to effectively lay out work, set-up appropriate machines or equipment to meet or exceed fabrication, assembly, and customer requirements per design specifications and published schedules. Efficiently utilizes resources to minimize scrap, materials, and labor.
Responsibilities
Includes, but is not limited to, the following...
- Capable of machining experimental configurations per specifications supplied by management in a timely fashion
- Working knowledge and or training / education of vertical Milling machines (Manual & CNC), engine lathes, vertical band saw
- Works with management to provide data on blueprint, bill of material, set-up sheet, or routing errors related to design issues to facilitate engineering updates
- Works with minimal supervision to accurately accomplish any given task
- Assists others as required
