What makes this role important at Ipsos?
A Marketing Scientist (internally known as Research Manager, Analytics) designs and implements a wide spectrum of research studies of varying complexity to answer marketing research objectives. They are the methodological "experts" in a variety of value-added services. In most cases, value-added services are advanced multivariate data analyses such as regression, GLM, discriminant analysis, MDS, clustering algorithms, and proprietary procedures.
What you can expect to be doing:
- Contributes to long-term client relationships through the successful execution of value-added research
- Responsible for the analytical results of research studies; the practicality or actionability of results; and the value they add to the overall research results to the client's business and to Ipsos
- Provides "expertise" in the appropriate use of Ipsos proprietary analytical models
- Responsible for working with client service teams to ensure the quality, profitability, and timeliness of each aspect of the study
- Responsible for training team members in all aspects of analytical design and execution
This might be the job for you if you have:
- B.S. or M.S. with a concentration in an analytic field or MBA with an analytic/research focus preferred
- Broad technical competencies but must also have the mathematical/statistical foundation upon which they are based
- 1-5 years of experience in data analysis preferred
- Programming skills in R, Python not required, but would be considered as a bonus

In accordance with NY/CO/CA/WA law, the estimated base salary range for this role is $67,000 to $85,000. Your final base salary will be determined based on several non-discriminatory factors which may include but are not limited to location, work experience, skills, knowledge, education and/or certifications.
