What are the responsibilities and job description for the Entry Level Patent Agent/Assiociate position at Ipspeedy Intellectual Property Inc.?
Wanted; patent law Agent/associate, 1 year design patent prosecution experience, member of USPTO bar and /or one state bar, to work full time in small busy practice. Excellent working conditions.
Responsibilities:
- Quick learning Ability on mastering the U.S. Federal statutes and all relevant regulations including USPTO rules pertaining to patent prosecution and litigation
- Timely communicate with Chinese supporting staff in terms of various inquiries from Applicants
- Prepare or Review the application documents prepared by Chinese supporting staff and revise as necessary before submitting to USPTO
- Identify the issues in the patent application documents and fully communicate with the Chinese supporting staff to follow up with the corrections
- Answering the phone calls from the examining attorney of USPTO to solve the issues over the phone if possible
- Timely reply any emails from the examining attorney
- Forward all the updates from USPTO regarding any applications to Chinese Supporting staff timely to avoid missing deadline
- Arrange the original patent certificates to be mailed to Chinese supporting staff
- Any other works assigned from senior attorney
