Overview:
iQ 360 is looking for an ambitious senior account coordinator to join our strategic, fun-loving and collaborative team in Honolulu. We are very serious about producing great work and delivering outstanding results.
This position supports the entire team working with some of the most influential companies in Hawaii and in the continental U.S. The right candidate has superior organizational skills, attention to detail and has the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects on an ongoing basis. The senior account coordinator should also possess a strong work ethic and positive attitude that resonates throughout the agency.
Responsibilities:
- Manage daily client media and social media monitoring, clippings, media placement and other weekly, monthly and quarterly reports
- Develop and manage media contact databases
- Draft press kit documents, news releases and pitches to reporters
- Assist with social media posts and monitor social media channels
- Craft client correspondence and emails that, with minimal edits by account lead, can be sent directly to the client
- Attend client meetings and events as needed, ensuring reliable transportation is arranged
- Provide support for public relations, marketing and social media projects as assigned
- Coordinate event planning and logistics when required
- Conduct research and other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in communications, public relations or business
- At least two years public relations or journalism experience preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Experience with PR tools such as Meltwater, News Exposure and CisionPoint a plus
- Proficient with all major social media platforms
· Excellent oral and written communications skills
· Proven ability to meet deadlines, juggle multiple projects and work independently in a fast-paced office
