Job Summary :
We are seeking an experienced SQL Server DBA to join our team on a contract basis and manage the performance, reliability, and scalability of our database environments. The ideal candidate will have extensive production DBA experience, including managing SQL Server , Oracle , and AWS Aurora / RDS databases, ensuring enterprise-grade performance for customer accounts and data.
Key Responsibilities :
- Manage, monitor, and optimize SQL Server, Oracle, and AWS Aurora / RDS databases in production environments.
- Perform traditional DBA tasks, including backups, recovery, indexing, and performance tuning.
- Ensure high availability, scalability, and disaster recovery for enterprise customer data.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to optimize database schemas, queries, and configurations.
- Implement and maintain database security best practices to protect sensitive customer data.
- Support database migrations, upgrades, and patching.
- Proactively monitor database health and resolve performance bottlenecks.
