Summary:
IQ Resource Group is seeking a hardworking and detail-oriented Machine Operator for our client in Two Rivers. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating a machine that converts rolls of nonwoven material into finished goods, ensuring quality control, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. This role requires attention to detail and ability to multitask.
The primary duties and responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Ensure proper operation of machine to which they are assigned
- Make machine adjustments to:
- Maintain product specifications
- Minimize waste
- Maximize efficiencies
- Inspect finished products to ensure 100% quality compliance
- Check and maintain raw material feed systems
- Maintain production records
- Perform daily machine maintenance
- Blow off and wipe down machines as needed
- Troubleshoot malfunctions
- Request assistance as needed
- Cross train on all machines and cover vacancies when necessary
- Assist other employees as necessary
- Support other company efforts as needed
Qualifications and Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- computer skills
- Basic math skills, including taking measurements
- Basic mechanical skills
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Desire to work in a team environment
Hours:
- 7:00am to 3:00pm
Wage:
- Starting at $16.60
