Part-time Data Analytics Intern

What will you be engaged in day-to-day?

• Collecting, cleaning, and validating both structured and unstructured data to provide clients with accurate information.
• Using data analysis tools to identify trends, patterns, and insights from available data sets.
• Designing and building report dashboards to highlight key performance indicators (KPIs) and other important metrics for websites, social media, and other paid campaigns.
• Drawing actionable insights through data analysis, extrapolation of business rules, and investigative questioning of stakeholders.
• Drafting internal and external communications.
• Participating in team meetings.
• Performing other duties as assigned.

Requirements

What qualifications will help you succeed?

• Pursuing a B.S./B.A. or M.S./M.A. in economics, information technology, data science, data analytics or a related field of study preferred.
• Good understanding of relational database structure, design principles, features and functions, and ability to identify areas for improvement to support client or business requirements.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau and Looker Studio.
• Familiarity with website data and tools like Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint and Google Documents.
• Focused, self-directed, good people skills, good writer.
• Ability to manage numerous projects, requests, and responsibilities.
• Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and follow-through.
