Job SummaryIQGeo is seeking a UI / UX Designer to support our Web and Mobile Software engineering and implementation efforts for domestic and international enterprise customers. Our flexible scheduling and outstanding benefits support success in a highly creative, innovative, and energetic company.Our Engineering teams are in Cambridge (UK), Denver (USA), Salt Lake City (USA), and Ghent (Belgium) and are responsible for designing and developing our geospatial products which are available both as cloud services and for on-premises deployment. As a UI / UX Designer, you will work across and closely with the Engineering team to ensure all user interfaces are designed well and have a consistent look and feel. The role is expected to be capable of working independently, and as a team member, and should have working experience as a UI / UX Designer.â€ResponsibilitiesInvestigate user experience design requirements for all products from product management, delivery, partners, and customersDevelop and conceptualize a UI / UX design strategy for the product suiteProduce high-quality design solutions through wireframes, graphic designs, flow diagrams, storyboards, site maps, and prototypesDesign consistent UI elements including dialogs, screens, and navigation menusWork with software engineers to ensure designs are adhered to and implemented as designedTest and validate UI elements in all productsProvide advice and guidance to software engineers for UI implementationSet and implement style standards (and Style Guide) on typography and graphic designOwn, maintain, and direct design of IQGeo applicationsâ€Required Skills & ExperienceEssential Excellent verbal and written communication skillsExcellent interpersonal and customer service skillsExcellent organizational skills and attention to detailExcellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines and prioritise tasksComfortable presenting design ideas to a variety of audiencesAbility to function well in a high-paced environmentComfortable managing work across a variety of applications and development teams simultaneouslyPortfolio of professional UI / UX design solutions for mobile and browser applicationsExpert knowledge of the following technologies : HTMLCSSDesign tools (ideally Figma)US citizenship or permanent residency requiredDesirable Experience using Software Lifecycle and Planning tools such as JiraExperience working in an Agile environmentKnowledge of Geospatial Information Systems (GIS) or web mappingEducation / ExperienceBachelor's degree in UI / UX Design or related field and / or equivalent experience.â€What's In it For You Medical, Dental, Vision, Life insurance : monthly premiums are paid 100% for employee, spouse, and family!
