Job Summary:
We are seeking a full time (40 hours/week) Director, IT Network Support to join our team. Telework permitted 3 days per week within commuting distance to worksite.
Responsibilities:
* Oversee the day-to-day operations of the company's network support operations and network infrastructure.
* Ensure that network support operations meet corporate service level and performance metric requirement goals.
* Manage the network implementation process and ensure that all modifications are secure, reliable, cost effective and fit to task.
* Assess network risks and identify ways to mitigate it.
* Develop and test disaster recovery plans.
* Develop and maintain a documented roadmap for the networking infrastructure that the company supports and ensure that these plans are understood and followed by members of the team.
* Establish best practices for monitoring, maintaining and escalating system issues. Develop and maintain processes for tracking of maintenance and support contracts, product licensing, and budgetary expectations.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering or a closely related field and one (1) year of experience overseeing network support operations for a
business process outsourcing company. Experience must include: implementing network processes and modifications; assessing network risks and mitigation efforts; developing and
testing disaster recovery plans; developing and maintaining a roadmap for networking infrastructure; and working with the following technologies - IT Service Management (ITSM), Cisco Switching, HP Switching and Routing, Lantronix Out-of-Band Management, SQL Server and NMS Platforms.
Salary
$143,811/per year
