Job Summary :
Develop and direct the global procurement and bidding process.
Responsibilities :
- Implement, establish and ensure compliance with company-wide procurement policies and guidelines on a global basis.
- Act as principal negotiator responsible for key interactions and the negotiation of technology products and services with suppliers.
- Conduct analysis of business needs and the financial impact of technology expenses.
- Direct and review current procurement programs to develop innovative cost saving ideas across the organization.
- Work cross-functionally with the Finance and Treasury departments to ensure that the Capital Expense Forecast numbers are met and to obtain favorable financing options for company.
- Liaise with Chief Technology Officer and other technology leaders to determine organizational technology needs and ensure compliance with procurement policies and guidelines.
Skills Requirements :
Education Requirements :
Bachelor’s Degree or foreign equivalent in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering field.
Physical Requirements :
Occasionally exert up to 10 lbs. of force to push, pull, lift or otherwise move objects. Have visual acuity to perform activities such as preparing and analyzing data; and / or viewing a computer terminal. Type and / or sit for extended periods of time.
