Summary:
Provides leadership, motivation and training to work area by supervising team members and helping them meeting departmental and area goals. Coordinates day-to-day activities or work area, from start of flow to finish. Interacts with customer to resolve issues and provide information.
We work as a team at Ivy Technology and there is an expectation that all team members will be flexible to assist in other areas of the organization as business needs may change.
Responsibilities:
- Interacts with the customer to resolve problems and provide information.
- Manages area metrics.
- Provides input to manager on employee’s performance.
- Writes processes, procedures, and work instructions as necessary.
- Provides work leadership to work area by assisting team members to meet departmental and area goals, which includes working in the work area if necessary.
- Trains team members on workstations and processes.
- Coordinates and directs the daytoday activities of the work area.
- Prepares work area for daily activities.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree, First Degree, Trade/Vocational School certificate or Equivalent required
- General knowledge of electronic component handling.
- Knowledge of process flows to include flow charts and written processes.
- Reading, writing and math skills.
- Working Knowledge of Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Strong interpersonal skills required, with demonstrated ability to build and maintain teamwork
