Core Focus:
The Director of SEO will be responsible for the overall solution effectiveness of SEO engagements for specific clients. The role will have a dual reporting structure, reporting to the client account lead for engagement matters and to iQuanti’s head of SEO strategy for solution development. The success of this role will be directly linked to the client’s success and will be measured by the extent to which client business goals are achieved; CSAT score on solution effectiveness; and renewal/growth of existing client business.
Primary Skills:
- Thought leadership and expertise in various aspects of SEO: content management, on-page SEO, authority building, and technical aspects of enterprise websites
- Experience in implementing large enterprise SEO programs in Fortune 500 enterprises
- Significant experience in leading discussions with senior marketing and business executives
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Thorough understanding of multiple channels in the digital marketing ecosystem.
- High aptitude for applying data in making decisions

- Experience working with a global delivery team
- Background/experience in website development
- Familiarity with various SEO, web analytics, and marketing technologies
Responsibilities:
SEO Strategy and Solution Thinking
- Establish iQuanti channel expertise in the eyes of the client through participation in key client interactions
- Author/deliver artifacts to be integrated into the overall strategy tailored to the client’s business (yearly planning, QBRs, etc.)
- Define the purpose, acceptance criteria, and data requirements for analyzing SEO data to address specific business situations
- Validate if data/insights meet the purpose/acceptance criteria as proposed earlier and pivot the storyline if required
- Provide regular POVs on the impact of changes in the search landscape on the client's business environment
Solution Execution
- Author/contribute to key solution deliverables
- Bring knowledge of practices used by other engagement teams for executing other client engagements
- Mentor the engagement team on any specific challenges, new approaches, platforms etc. being deployed on a client project
- Provide guidance to the engagement team during client escalations or high-business-impact events (rank drops etc.)
- Flag any technical challenges
- Standardize the methods, frameworks, and approaches used for solution execution by the engagement team
Practice Development
- Author standard methods and templates for core solution blocks that can be reused by various engagement teams
- Leverage specialized deliverables in specific engagements to develop standard collateral for future use across engagements
- Identify automation opportunities for improving workflows and methods
- Develop manuals/user documents for use by client organizations
- Create artifacts (checklists, templates, etc.) to streamline key outputs
- Contribute to defining, evaluating, and delivering training programs that improve the competencies of team members
Requirements:
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in digital marketing and at least 8 years of experience in implementing SEO programs
- At least 4 years of experience in implementing large enterprise SEO programs
- Published at least 8 articles, webinars, or other contributions to furthering SEO knowledge
Great-to-haves:
An MBA or master’s degree in marketing, management, data analytics or a similar specialization area

Salary: $160K - 180K/yr
