One of our clients in the San Francisco Bay Area, Sacramento, CA or Atlanta, GA area needs a Scrum Master ( IVR Technology & Genesys CX Cloud) for a contractual position.

• Position : Scrum Master ( IVR Technology & Genesys CX Cloud)
• Location : San Francisco Bay Area, Sacramento, CA or Atlanta, GA area
• Position Type : Contractual (6 months)
• Travel : Onsite (Hybrid)

Job Description :

This will be hybrid work arrangement and candidate must be able to go to one of the Delta offices in Oakland, Rancho Cordova or Alpharetta, few times every month.  The Scrum Master will be responsible for acting as a servant leader to agile team(s), and a facilitator for the development team and Product Owner. They will lead the team and organization to diligently apply Agile / Scrum practices, values, roles and theory. They will drive delivery, manage risks & issues, and dependencies to resolution and own communications for the team. They will be responsible for monitoring the scrum processes and scrum meetings while increasing team efficiency and advocating for changes that will ensure quality and timeliness.

Skills / Experience :

• Strong knowledge of facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution
• Understand various agile methodologies and frameworks; SAFe, Scrum, Kanban, XP
• Effective communication skills, ability to adapt style to suit different audiences
• Ability to analyze data and draw insights on team performance.
• Good understanding of Software design and delivery.  Knowledge of technical terminology and processes / systems
• Servant leadership, stakeholder management and negotiation skill
• Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Ensure the team adheres to Scrum principles and practices, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with Product Owners to manage the product backlog and ensure clear communication of requirements.
• Remove impediments and obstacles that hinder the team's progress, ensuring smooth execution of deliverables.
• Coach and mentor team members on Agile methodologies and best practices.  Be able to teach simple agile concepts to teams
• Foster a collaborative and transparent team environment, promoting open communication and trust.
• Coordinate with other Scrum Masters and teams to ensure alignment and manage dependencies.
• Knowledge of Visio, Jira, Confluence, and Jira Align, Miro

Required Skills :

• Knowledge of IVR Technologies :   IVR systems, platforms, and related technologies.
• Knowledge of Genesys CX Cloud is preferred

Bachelors degree and Certifications
