Makpar is seeking an experienced Technical Proposal Writer to plan, write, and deliver technical content for proposals submitted in response to Government solicitations. You will be responsible for developing and updating technical proposal content to convert technical concepts to compelling, compliant, and easy-to-understand content while adhering to industry and Makpar’s proposal-writing standards. The ideal candidate is expected to have a bachelor’s degree plus 5 years of relevant experience in technical proposal writing.

Job Description :
Role Specific Duties :
- Excellent written communication skills : Ability to convey technical information clearly, concisely and with a flair for innovation concepts.
- Strong research skills : Gathering and analysing technical data to accurately document features and functionalities.
- Ability to write with a little marketing flair for creativity.
- Ability to interview the Solution Architect to gather overall win themes and story line for a proposal submittal.
- Clear understanding of the technical domain related to the service being documented.
- Attention to detail : Ensuring accuracy, consistency, and the win-theme is shown throughout the documentation.
- Editing and proofreading skills : Ability to correct grammar, spelling, and punctuation errors.
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to gather needed information.
- Adhere to deadlines.
- Ability to learn new technologies that would help benefit our customers.
Finally, the goal is to have a final proposal submitted that decision makers / evaluators with different backgrounds and needs can understand, demonstrating that we understand their needs and have a clear innovative solution that will support them today and into the near future.
