Job Description :
The Lead Logistician oversees individual warehouse operations. Manage warehouse staff, their training, and continuing professional development. The warehouse manager conducts periodic inventory counts to ensure the accuracy of records. They establish and monitor security procedures to maintain the safety of warehouse equipment and inventory. They ensure that the warehouse operations comply with all necessary regulations and interact with LSI Procurement and Logistics PM and customer management on warehouse issues. The warehouse manager is responsible for overseeing all the warehouse logistics functional areas, such as Stock Reports, Inventories, Disposal of Material and Equipment, Life-Cycle Management of material stored and warranties. Manages supply activities to include support of inventory control, storage, distribution, cataloging, supply identification systems, property utilization, and other related activities. Responsible for timely submission of reports as required by the customer and or LSI management. The incumbent will maintain overview of program accomplishment, budget execution, and manpower utilization, and based on needs and trends; recommends, initiates, or takes appropriate action. Additionally, will manage resources to promote economy and to ensure the application to satisfy programmed requirements and improve physical facilities associated with supply and logistics services and will ensure optimum supply support to the customer and supported activities.
