iQuasar is seeking to fill Sr. Software Tester for our customer in Chantilly, VA. iQuasar is an 18 -year-old Northern Virginia company delivering recruitment, proposal development, digital marketing, software development, and IT solutions to Small and Medium Businesses (SMB) and Government contractors in technology and Civil Engineering verticals. We are experienced in working with Federal, State, and Local Governments as well as commercial clients : e.g. The Federal Reserve Board, United States Patent and Trade Office (USPTO), Comcast Cable, Departments of Transportation & Treasury, Commonwealths of VA & PA.

One of our clients in Chantilly, VA needs a Sr. Software Tester for a full-time position.

Position : Sr. Software Tester
Location : Chantilly, VA (Hybrid)
Position Type : Full-time position
Travel : No
Clearance : TS / SCI with CI polygraph

Responsibilities

The candidate will support the client's mission goals and strategic objectives by providing strategic planning, business planning, program increment, and release training support to the program. The candidate will use the Agile Framework and provide leadership to a portfolio of projects within the client's mission space through design, implementation, and testing.

Responsibilities :

Provide expertise in the planning, constructing, and execution of test scripts.

Apply business and functional knowledge including testing standards, guidelines, and testing methodology to meet the team's overall test objectives.

Ensure all testing results are easily accessible and understandable.

Track defects to closure and keep the defect repository up to date.

Provide knowledge in industry, process, or technology areas.

Plan and manage the work of information systems project teams.

Design and implement new organization structures, conceptual design, and development of training curricula.

Assist an organization to translate its vision and strategy into core human resources and business processes.

Lead clients through streamlining, reengineering, and transforming business processes.

Develop and execute project budgets.

Competent in subject matter and concepts and may lead individuals assisting in the work.

Qualifications :

Bachelor's Degree plus 4 years of directly applicable experience (overall experience, 8 years)

Experience with designing and implementing new organization structures, and conceptual design / development of training curricula.

Experience streamlining, reengineering, and transforming business processes.

Prior experience creating automated tests, preferably with Selenium.

Good understanding of Agile practices

Experience developing and executing project budgets.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Must be able to work independently, with minimal oversight.

Able to develop strong client relationships.

Ability to function in a fast-paced collaborative environment.
