The IQVIA Data Science team is dedicated to statistical support through the entire life-cycle of offerings. This include offering design, development, methodology maintenance, quality control as well internal and external client support. The team is has a rich knowledge of various data assets and their applications, including business rules applied and cross offering differences. There is extensive experiences in traditional statistical inference, applied methodologies , new AIML algorithms and a high profile with a reputation for innovation and quality of services.
Job Overview
Provide methodology support and enhancements to a wide range of IQVIA syndicated and new data offerings.
Essential Functions
Ownership of researching new methodologies, maintaining existing methodologies and quality control of the related offerings.
Concept, design, development and execution of Machine Learning solutions as well as execution and implementation of concept studies using statistical methods to meet informational needs.
Developing and using a variety of data analysis methods, on multiple platforms including Big Data, SAS and use of various data tools to build and implement efficient techniques, quality control reports and research new methodologies.
Collaborate extensively with team members to report progress and meet critical deadlines.
Effectively communicate across different function teams to illustrate methodology design.
Conduct data reviews to derive conclusions from the analysis, write up results and deliver regular summary reports for core processes.
Qualifications
Master’s degree or equivalent, Bachelor’s degree with four (4) years of experience in Statistics, Mathematics, or related quantitative science field in operations research, market research, applied statistics or data science.
Fundamental Statistical knowledge including regression, sampling statistics (universe, sample design, projection factors), and predictive modeling is required.
Strong analytic mindset, logical thinking capability and strong QC mindset
Experience with Big Data and technical capability in SQL, Python and Hadoop ecosystem is required.
Applied experience in SAS and/or other statistical programming is preferred.
The technical ability to extract, manipulate, and combine datasets from different sources and platforms.
Experience creating and using machine learning algorithms for outlier detection.
Strong written and verbal communication skills including ability to explain concepts to both statistical and non-statistical audiences.
Ability to present recommendations and methodology to internal and external audiences.

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $106,200.00 - $177,000.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.Salary : $106,200 - $177,000
