Job Description:
Our RN Clinical Educators experience a unique opportunity to employ their clinical nursing expertise in a new way outside patient care, while continuing to collaborate with healthcare professionals and advocate for the well-being of patients through medical device technology.
Qualified Clinical Educators/Registered Nurses will be tasked with educating Registered Nurses and Physicians on an Endotracheal Tube that is used in the Critical Care unit of the hospital.
You are responsible for education only; no sales responsibilities, and no patient care.
This role consists of virtual and in-person assignments. You must be available for local, regional, and national travel when required. There will be 2-5 virtual or in-person assignments per month, ranging 2-4 hours per virtual assignment or 3-5 days per in-person assignment.
You will receive a guaranteed number of hours and pay each week.
Responsibilities:
Provide peer-to-peer education and consultation to RN, Physicians, and other healthcare staff in support of end-user education needs in the healthcare setting
Assess customer needs and assist with resolving issues stemming from lack of medical device knowledge or understanding of the particular product
Assist in the delivery of medical device-related in-service education to support key customers
Follow-up with key accounts and customers to assess unmet education and clinical needs as it relates to successful medical device implementation.
Collaborate with client functional areas:
Provide clinical and professional expertise to end users including RN staff, Physicians and other healthcare professionals in a setting without patient care
Provide customer feedback to corporate teams to improve new and existing medical devices
Serve as an education resource on the particular device

Job Requirements:
RN Degree - Associate's required, Bachelor's preferred
Active and Unrestricted RN License required
2 years ICU, ER, or Critical Care Unit experience within the last 2 years required
Ability to travel locally, regionally, and nationally required
Experience working with Endotracheal Tubes
Must be comfortable with basic software programs
Leadership experience (Charge Nurse, Educator, Preceptor) preferred
Duties may require compliance with client and hospital requirements that all those performing services on-site be fully vaccinated
