What are the responsibilities and job description for the Equity Advocate Representative-New Orleans, LA position at IQVIA?
IQVIA, in partnership with Boston Scientific, is looking for high performing Equity Advocate Representatives with a track record of success to join our team! The Equity Advocate Representative will be working with a call list provided by Boston Scientific and scheduling calls to meet with physicians and provide education, identify key referral networks in underserved markets. The Equity Advocate Representative will determine where Boston Scientific therapies can assist in providing a comprehensive healthcare solution.
Equity Advocate Representative responsibilities include:
- Successfully completes all assigned training for the role as well as dedicates the necessary time to
- both retain and build the on foundational product and clinical training.
- Conduct all field activities according to Client’s policies and guidelines, including but not limited to Travel & Entertainment (T&E) policy, and Advamed Code of Ethics.
- Compliance with Client policies and procedures on field executed healthcare provider (HCP) and patient education activities.
- Provide timely updates to Client Project Lead and IQVIA Employee Engagement Leader as necessary on ongoing business activities, competitive conditions, industry trends, etc.
- Maintain and update current and prospective target LAAC referring physician profiles.
- Classify HCP clinical needs, goals, and constraints related to patient care.
- Determine where WATCHMAN can assist in providing a comprehensive healthcare solution.
- Identify local key opinion leaders, community leaders and other health equity champions for the WATCHMAN therapy
- Scheduling meetings with HCPs to educate on WATCHMAN.
Basic qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 2 years of related internships, clinical and/or business to business sales experience
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced customer facing environment
- Ability to adapt quickly meeting the demands of the business while making an impact
- Experience building relationships with key customers
- Manage expense budget and promotional budget within the guideline.
- Ability to work outside normal business hours including some weekends.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Pharmaceutical and/or medical device experience
- Bilingual English/Spanish
- Salesforce.com experience
- Health Equity experience
- Able to build and maintain strong customer relationships
- Must be energetic, enthusiastic, determined a goal-oriented
- Excels in a fast-paced, competitive environment

The potential base pay range for this role is 85-100,000 annually. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
