The Principal of IM Solutions will focus on Analytics and Data Management, specifically positioned to address the unique and complex challenges within the life sciences industry. This position is instrumental in driving the vision, strategy, and execution of advanced analytics and data management initiatives to support key business objectives in areas such as data management and security, insight creation/generation, healthcare analytics, and patient outcomes. The principal will serve as the pre-sale engagement lead for strategic customers and ensure that contracted engagements stay aligned with strategic objectives of IQVIA’s customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and healthcare organizations, positioning the company as a trusted partner.
- Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the life sciences industry, leveraging market insights to expand the client base and drive growth.
- Strategic Leadership: Working with the Product management organization to define and execute the vision/ roadmap for data warehouse solutions, aligning with IQVIA's overall business objectives and client needs.
- Solution Design: Lead the architecture, design, and development of robust data warehouse systems, ensuring scalability, performance, and security. Implement and maintain auditable design standards to ensure consistency and best practices amongst our clients.
- Team Management: Build, mentor, and manage a team of data engineers, architects, and analysts, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence. Ensure team remains up to date on technical skillsets to meet current and forecasted demands.
- Technology Expertise: Stay abreast of emerging technologies and trends in data warehousing, analytics, and cloud computing to drive continuous improvement.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including data science, analytics, and IT, to integrate data warehouse solutions into broader business processes.
- IM Evangelist: Promote IM capabilities internally and externally to ensure broad awareness of quality and scope of IQVIA’s solutions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree (preferred) in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 10 years experience in leading data warehouse projects and teams, preferably in the healthcare or life sciences industry.
- Expertise in data warehouse technologies, such as SQL, ETL tools, cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), and big data frameworks.
- Expertise working with Life Sciences focused data offerings – preferably including standard IQVIA solutions such as DDD, Xponent, LAAD/Claims. Further experience with client data, third party and Specialty Pharmacy data is a plus.
- Strong understanding of data governance, security, and compliance standards.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $181,400.00 - $336,800.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.Salary : $181,400 - $336,800
