The IRA Trust Intern will assist multiple IRA Financial teams in managing and administering Individual Retirement Accounts (IRAs) held within a trust. This internship will provide valuable exposure to the regulatory, financial, and operational aspects of IRA trust administration.
Responsibilities & Duties
- Assist in the IRA administration, ensuring compliance with federal regulations and IRS guidelines.
- Help process and review contributions, distributions, and beneficiary designations for IRA accounts.
- Help prepare documents, including IRA agreements, account opening forms, and other compliance paperwork.
- Assist in communicating with clients, beneficiaries, and custodians about IRA Trusts, providing excellent customer service.
- Maintain accurate records and organize files related to IRAs.
- Assist with other administrative duties as required by IRA Financial.
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless experience for clients and support overall business objectives.
- Other tasks as assigned by management.
- Currently pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, Law, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Strong interest in retirement planning and trust administration.
- Basic understanding of retirement accounts (IRAs) and related regulations is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive financial data.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
