Warehouse Supervisor
What you’ll do:
Drive compliance to all company safety policies and procedures
Provide daily direction and hands on support for the department and team
Learn location and arrangement of stock and plan layout of stockroom, warehouse, and other storage areas
Recommend remedial action for unusable, slow moving, and excess stock
Responsible for delivery and/or shipping schedule, adjusting errors and handling complaints with a CUSTOMER.FIRST.ALWAYS mentality
Evaluate, develop, and train new associates and review progress of the team
Organize and conduct necessary training activities for the staff and workers.
Provide recommendations on process improvement and assist with implementation
What you need:
Excellent knowledge and experience in supervisory best practices and principles
Strong motivational, effectual team building, and decision-making skills
Exceptional knowledge of shipping/receiving practices, policies, and techniques
Basic computer system skills required.
RF Technology knowledge a plus.
Related experience and/or training in a supervisory capacity
