Clinical and Regulatory Manager (RN) – Dialysis Operations
Location: Candidates should reside in Indiana or Illinois.
Position Type & Travel: Work from home with 60-75% travel to dialysis clinics.
Summary:
Innovative Renal Care is seeking a Clinical and Regulatory Manager (RN) to support dialysis facilities and ensure compliance with clinical policies, regulations, and quality standards. This role plays a key part in improving patient outcomes, overseeing survey readiness, coaching facility staff, and driving adherence to policies and procedures. Essential Functions:
- Policy & Compliance (10%)
- Recommend updates to clinical policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with best practices.
- Educate facility staff on policies, procedures, and medication protocols to minimize waste.
- Serve as a resource for Clinic Managers on policy interpretation and implementation.
- Regulatory, Risk & Safety (30%)
- Stay up to date with federal and state regulations and provide guidance to dialysis centers.
- Conduct survey readiness audits and assist with corrective action plans.
- Monitor adverse events, review incident reports, and support compliance with clinical software systems.
- Ensure facilities adhere to Network requirements and regulatory guidelines.
- Clinical Outcomes & Quality Improvement (40%)
- Lead initiatives to improve clinical outcomes across dialysis facilities.
- Support Quality Assessment & Performance Improvement (QAPI) activities, track trends, and drive action plans.
- Assist with Medicare audits and billing compliance.
- Collaborate with leadership to review clinical performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Education & Leadership Development (20%)
- Develop and deliver clinical education and leadership training for dialysis teams.
- Ensure compliance with training programs and regulatory requirements.
- Identify professional development needs and support continuous education for staff.
Required Education and Experience:
- Registered Nurse (RN) license (BSN and CNN preferred).
- 6 years of nursing experience required,
- At least 4 years in dialysis nursing experience preferred.
- 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role with experience in coaching and training teams.
- Strong knowledge of CMS, state, and federal dialysis regulations.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and clinical software systems.
