About the Role
Process Technologist – Drive Innovation from Kitchen to Production Line
Are you passionate about turning ideas into reality on the factory floor? As a Process Technologist at Irca, you’ll play a key role in bringing new products to life and ensuring our manufacturing processes are as efficient and effective as possible.
In this dynamic role, you’ll take ownership of scaling up new product concepts—from kitchen samples to full-scale production—ensuring smooth transitions and precise execution at every stage. You'll collaborate closely with teams across R&D, Engineering, Planning, and Quality Assurance to make sure we deliver high-quality products on time, every time.

- Scale up new production from kitchen samples to full-scale manufacturing.
- Work cross-functionally with R&D, engineering, planning, and quality teams.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production challenges.
- Lead local Product Improvement Projects (PIP) to drive cost efficiency and optimise raw materials.
- Take ownership of new product launches before handing them over to production.
- Identify and implement process improvements for efficiency gains and cost savings.
- Troubleshooting and solving production challenges as they arise
- Optimising processing conditions to maximise efficiency and consistency
- Leading local Product Improvement Projects to reduce costs and improve raw material usage
- Driving continuous improvement and supporting our commitment to manufacturing excellence
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience with extruded and baked products.
- Proven project management and people management experience.
- Strong knowledge of food ingredients and manufacturing processes.
- Proficiency in Optiva PLM and M3 (essential).
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
