What are the responsibilities and job description for the In-Home Tutor position at iReadingTUTOR?
Teach a 3rd grader. He has a “language disorder” diagnosed through the school and also has ADHD. He can read, but he cannot comprehend what he is reading at all! He is scoring 1s on his FAST assessments because he can’t comprehend and is a pour test taker, especially on the computer. parent is wanting comprehension and test taking help!
The other is a 5th grader with decoding issues-
Tutor works with clients in their home on ELA skills.
They are available Monday - Friday 3pm -7pm& weekends.
4 hours a week
Looking for Candidates with Linda mood Bell V/V, Orton-Gillingham certifications and experience. Elementary Ed., English, Math, Special Education, Communication, literacy, SLP, Science of Reading Knowledge a must!
Prefer college of education or Special Needs candidates with some student contact experience.
Effectively communicate with parents and tutoring center as needed. Take attendance in a tutoring portal after each session.
This is a contract position- you will get an independent contractors agreement and 1099 in Jan 2026.
