Description CNA Shift: 11:00 am - 11:00 pm / 12 hours per week / Every Other Saturday/Sunday / Shift Diff The Emergency Department Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is responsible for assisting with unit/patient care needs under the direction and supervision of a registered nurse. Has full access to patient health information. May have access to medication storage areas (excluding controlled substances) as related to job responsibilities. Requirements High school graduate or equivalent. Listed with the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services Division of Health Service Regulation in good standing. Certification in BLS is required through American Heart Association or the American Red Cross Must possess full range of body motion to pass a basic FIT test to include bending, stooping, standing, and sitting for extended periods of time.
