What are the responsibilities and job description for the MRI Tech position at Iredell Health System?
Description Performs MRI procedures and related tasks on neonate, infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients. Assists with departmental and hospital CQI activities. Performs other duties related to the MRI Department. Requirements Registered by the ARRT in MRI. CT experience preferred. BLS certification required. Must be certified through the American Heart Association or Red Cross. Must be detail oriented. Must possess full range of body motion to pass a basic FIT test to include bending, stooping, standing and sitting for extended periods of time.
Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
Excellent visual acuity and hearing. Works well under stressful conditions and be able to handle a variety of work situations with frequent interruptions and sill meet deadlines Average physical demands involve moving/transporting patients, lifting accessory equipment and pushing wheelchairs or stretchers
