Elementary Classroom Teacher

Develop appropriate curriculum and a favorable classroom environment to ensure personal and educational growth. •Interpret assessment data to drive instruction. •Review data to make instructional decisions to address student weaknesses. •Plan and implement intervention strategies. •Utilize instructional management systems which increases student learning and maximizes time on task. •Communicate effectively within the educational community and with parents on a regular basis. •Collaborate with fellow teachers for instructional planning and delivery. •Monitor and maintain accurate records on student achievement, articulating the progress and success. •Foster a classroom climate conducive to learning. •Promote and maintain positive pupil-teacher-parent relationships. •Adhere to the teacher code of conduct. •Maintain professional work habits. •Participate in training as required - attendance to additional training outside designated schedule. •Perform other job-related duties as assigned by the Superintendent/Principal.
