Description
Assists the Vice President of Nursing and Nursing Administration with the duties of organization and preparation of data and information related to Nursing Services. Assists in compiling data gathered during audits and disseminates data to appropriate departmental directors for review. Ensures that system for introducing, amending, and discontinuing forms is working efficiently. Has full access to patient health information. Coordinates performance improvement initiatives. Serves as Scheduling Coordinator for our per diem staff including processing time and labor along with the onboarding of new staff.
Requirements
- Associate’s Degree in business or related field required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- 2-3 years experience in health care background preferred.
- Expertise with use of Microsoft Office Programs, spreadsheet, and graphs.
- Experience with scheduling software preferred (Shiftwizard a plus).
- Ability to prepare and assist with preparation of PowerPoint presentations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and organizational skills.
- Must possess full range of body motion to pass basic FIT test for position to include walking, kneeling, standing, pushing, pulling, bending, stooping, reaching and sitting for extended periods of time. Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 lbs.
