Description
Supervises and instructs employees who prepare, serve and clean up for patients and cafeteria meal service. Has no access to patient health information.
Shift: M-F 12:30 PM - 8:30 PM, every other weekend; Ability to cover 5 AM - 1:30 PM
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Knowledge of work to be performed and ability to supervise work of others.
- Prefer one year of supervisory experience in a hospital or extended care facility food service setting.
- Must possess full range of body motion to pass basic FIT test for position to include walking, kneeling, standing, pushing, pulling, bending, stooping, reaching and sitting for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds
- Stands and walks most of the day.
- Must be able to withstand heat and temperature changes while going in and out of refrigerated or freezer areas.
