Job Title: Autism Support Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as an Autism Support Technician. This role will provide critical support to students with autism, ensuring they receive the necessary accommodations and services to succeed academically and socially.


Job Description


We are looking for an experienced professional who can provide direct support to students with autism in a school setting. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and be able to develop and implement effective strategies to support students with ASD.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Provide direct support to students with autism in a one-on-one or small group setting.
  • Develop and implement individualized behavior plans to address specific student needs.
  • Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and other support staff to ensure seamless support for students.
  • Monitor student progress and adjust strategies as needed.

Requirements


To be successful in this role, you will need:


  • A high school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Experience working with students with autism or other special needs.
  • Ability to develop and implement effective behavioral strategies.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
