The successful candidate will be a seasoned professional with extensive experience in data center construction and management.
You will lead the planning, direction, organization, and budgeting of all construction or maintenance work on the project.
Reporting to the Vice President, Operations – USA, you will be responsible for managing external relationships, providing strategic risk and compliance advice, and proactively identifying and managing project risk.
- You will oversee the development and maintenance of Construction Project Frameworks, Schedules, Compliance, and Project Execution Plans.
- You will ensure that Construction Work Packages are defined and coordinated with Engineering and Procurement.
- You will proactively identify and efficiently manage current and future project risk, including management of key process and maintenance of associated Registers.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage external relationships with regulatory authorities, auditing bodies, agencies, service providers, and vendors.
- Provide strategic risk and compliance advice across activities associated with the construction of Sweetwater Facility and associated infrastructure.
- Proactively identify and efficiently manage current and future project risk, including management of key process and maintenance of associated Registers.
Required Skills and Experience
- Strong knowledge of EPCM model of project delivery.
- Experience working with multi-jurisdictional regulatory frameworks.
- Understanding of relevant construction and electrical standards.
- Technical proficiency in construction, project management, and controls.
