As the Sales Manager - AI & HPC Solutions , you will be instrumental in driving revenue growth within the GPU cloud computing and colocation services sectors. Reporting directly to the Chief Commercial Officer, you will maintain a transparent and organized sales pipeline, collaborate across teams for optimization, and ensure a customer-centric approach backed by insightful feedback.

This role demands a solid understanding of market dynamics and the ability to provide strategic insights based on industry trends, customer feedback, and emerging opportunities. Exceptional networking skills will be essential as you build and foster important industry relationships.

Please note : this is a remote role, with a preference for candidates based in San Francisco.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Travel requirement : 40% - 75%, particularly to the San Francisco / Silicon Valley area and Vancouver.
  • Develop and implement strategies to drive revenue in the GPU cloud computing and colocation services markets.
  • Regularly update executive leadership on key performance metrics, lead generation, and revenue forecasts.
  • Analyze market trends to identify opportunities and risks.
  • Build and sustain a transparent sales pipeline with strategic alignment.
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to enhance pipeline effectiveness.
  • Adopt a customer-centric approach by collecting and utilizing customer feedback for ongoing improvements.
  • Create and present customer retention strategies to drive business success.
  • Partner with the finance team to manage and enhance the budget for sales initiatives.
  • Provide strategic recommendations informed by market dynamics, customer insights, and industry developments.
  • Collaborate closely with the executive team to refine business development strategies.
  • Leverage strong networking abilities to cultivate relationships within the industry and with prospective clients.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking gatherings.
  • Prepare research analyses and presentations on critical business issues.
  • Engage in external relations to communicate key messaging aligned with IREN's AI / HPC strategy.
  • Contribute to pertinent documents such as investor presentations and monthly / quarterly reports.
  • Support the preparation of the Annual Report and related filings as necessary.

Desired Skills, Qualifications, and Competencies :

  • Degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or related field; an MBA is a plus.
  • 3-5 years of successful experience in business development, sales, or related industry, with preference given to those with AI, Cloud, or emerging technology experience.
  • Proven track record in business development and client acquisitions, ideally in the tech or data center sector.
  • Ability to work autonomously and thrive in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
  • Skilled in data analysis and presentation to drive decision-making and identify growth opportunities.
  • Proactive self-starter with a strong sense of ownership and commitment to environmental and quality standards.
  • History of meeting and exceeding ambitious sales targets.
  • Adaptability to evolving market conditions and resilience in adjusting strategies accordingly.
  • Organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Critical and commercial thinking abilities.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Professionally adept at engaging with various organizational levels.
  • Team-oriented with an influential approach to collaboration.
  • Action-oriented, fitting well within IREN's dynamic, entrepreneurial culture.
  • Enthusiastic, innovative, and forward-thinking; maintains a strategic growth mindset.
  • Compensation and Benefits :

  • Salary range (for San Francisco, California location) : USD $130,000 to $160,000, based on experience.
  • Incentive programs for short-term and long-term performance.
  • Comprehensive health and dental benefits.
  • Two weeks of paid vacation annually.
