THE POSITION:
Our AR Specialists are one of the most integral positions in our company and are not only responsible for day-to-day medical billing duties - but play a crucial role in establishing and maintaining relationships by providing excellent customer service to our clinical staff and patient’s. Our AR Specialists contribute to the overall financial health of the company by providing the billing department with follow-up on incorrectly paid, rejected or denied claims, and record keeping with efficiency.

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
High school diploma or equivalent
3 years of medical billing experience preferred (with emphasis on outpatient physical therapy experience)
Knowledge of CPT/ICD-10/HCPC codes.
Knowledge of various insurance plans
Knowledge and understanding of EOBs
A strong understanding of revenue cycle processes within a healthcare setting.
Proficient with ten-key by touch.
Knowledge and adherence to HIPAA laws and compliance regulations
PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORKING CONDITIONS:
Physical activity including but not limited to bending, reaching, squatting, lifting and prolonged periods of sitting.
Required to work at an IRG facility and be responsible for your own transportation to and from work site.
Work for extended periods of time at a video display terminal and will be required to use a keyboard to enter and gather information.
Work schedule will be based on the needs of IRG
PAY & BENEFITS INFORMATION:
Base salary: $24 to $26 per hour depending on experience
