THE POSITION :

Our Payment Posting Specialists are one of the most integral positions in our company and play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely posting of payments which contribute to the overall financial health of our company. This position provides the Billing Department with posting insurance and patient payments, balancing deposits and record keeping with efficiency.

QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS :

High school diploma or equivalent

1 years of payment posting experience in a healthcare setting preferred.

Detail oriented.

A strong understanding of revenue cycle processes within a healthcare setting.

Knowledge of CPT / ICD-10 / HCPC codes.

Knowledge of various insurance plans

Knowledge and understanding of EOBs

Proficient with ten-key by touch.

Knowledge and adherence to HIPAA laws and compliance regulations

PHYSICAL DEMANDS / WORKING CONDITIONS :

Physical activity including but not limited to bending, reaching, squatting, lifting and prolonged periods of sitting.

Required to work at an IRG facility and be responsible for your own transportation to and from work site.

Work for extended periods of time at a video display terminal and will be required to use a keyboard to enter and gather information.

Work schedule will be based on the needs of IRG

PAY & BENEFITS INFORMATION :

Base salary : $24 to $26 per hour depending on experience
