Maru Rooftop is a high-energy cocktail bar and lounge offering expertly crafted drinks, Nikkei-inspired bites, and stunning views of Tampa Bay. We’re looking for an engaging and attentive Cocktail Server to elevate the guest experience by providing seamless, high-touch service in a fast-paced, social atmosphere. If you have a passion for hospitality, craft cocktails, and vibrant nightlife, this is your opportunity to be part of something special.
Hours of operation: 4:00 PM – Midnight, 7 days a week
What You’ll Do:
- Own the Guest Experience: Welcome, engage, and ensure every guest enjoys top-tier service from start to finish.
- Be a Menu Expert: Know our cocktail, wine, and food offerings inside and out—answering questions and making recommendations with confidence.
- Keep the Energy Flowing: Anticipate guest needs, process orders efficiently, and maintain an upbeat and engaging presence.
- Work the Room: Monitor tables, respond quickly to requests, and create a fun and hospitable environment.
- Stay Sharp & Organized: Complete side work, keep service areas stocked, and maintain high standards throughout every shift.
- Handle Transactions: Present final bills, process payments accurately, and report gratuities in compliance with IRS guidelines.
What We’re Looking For:
- Must be 21 years old with 1-2 years of cocktail serving experience in a high-volume bar, lounge, or restaurant.
- A true team player with a positive, high-energy attitude.
- Strong communication skills to engage with guests, collaborate with bartenders, and work efficiently under pressure.
- Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Comfortable with constant standing/walking and occasional lifting, bending, or reaching.
