Innovative Resources for Independence (IRI) is seeking an experienced RN Coordinator to join the Clinical Services team. As an RN Coordinator, you will lead the health care of the people we support in a cluster of residential programs.

Position Summary:
Innovative Resources for Independence (IRI) is seeking a compassionate and experienced RN Coordinator to lead and supervise a small team of nurses in our organization. The RN Coordinator will play a crucial role in overseeing medical emergencies, ensuring timely triage, and coordinating medication administration programs. This role also includes ensuring ongoing training, certification, and supervision of Auxiliary Medication Administration Personnel (AMAP) staff in a cluster of residential programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise a small team of nurses
- Oversee medical emergencies and secure timely triage
- Ensure nursing team certifies/re-certifies and properly supervises Auxiliary Medication Administration Personnel (AMAP staff) on an ongoing basis
- Oversee and coordinate medication administration programs to ensure that all staff is well trained and up to date in their certifications.
- Ensure medical records are kept up to date and in compliance with governing regulations
- Liaise with external medical providers, pharmacies, and treatment facilities to ensure proper care

- You have at least a Bachelor’s degree
- You have a minimum of 5 years of experience in nursing practice in delivering health care to people with intellectual and developmental disabilities with at least 2 years in a supervisory capacity
- You have minimum of 1 year of OPWDD experience
- Must have a car with a valid driver's license in good standing
- You have outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
- You are organized and detail-oriented
- You are technology savvy
- You are a strong team player and highly energetic
