Position Summary, Job Requirements & Responsibilities
What We’re Looking For :
Iridium is seeking an Early Careers Specialist to join our Talent Acquisition team. As an Early Careers Specialist, you will contribute to the design, implementation, and execution of early careers programs such as the Iridium Summer Internship and Orbit Rotational programs. This role will also be responsible for facilitation of onboaring all new hires. You will focus on coordinating recruitment efforts, managing candidate experiences, and supporting career development initiatives. What You’ll Do :
- Attend career fairs, host career days, and build relationships with colleges, universities, and student organizations
- Respond to requests from managers throughout the recruiting process around process expectations and updates, and ensure candidate feedback is collected
- Frequently monitor and update job postings and candidate dispositions in the applicant tracking system (iCIMS) to ensure compliance with various employment laws, AAP regulations, and organizational policies
- Assist with all aspects of facilitating and coordinating of the annual Intern and Orbit programs
- Prepare, distribute, process and track paperwork for new hires, such as background check requests, tax forms, and other human resources-related forms, and ensure employee profiles are set up and maintained in HR systems and facilitate new hire orientation, ensuring a smooth transition to Iridium
- Partner with other stakeholders in the onboarding process, such as accounting, IT, security, and hiring managers

Work Environment :
This position is hybrid and in the office three (3) days each week. The position is largely sedentary with the majority of the position sitting in a chair and working with a computer with occasional lifting and / or moving of up to 50 lbs. The role uses basic office equipment including a phone, video, computer, keyboard, mouse, and printer.
