Get ready to take your career to the next level with Iridium’s Systems Administrator I position! If you have experience with DevOps, Agile methodology, software development processes, Windows and / or Linux, we want you to join our Infrastructure Build team! As a Systems Administrator, you will play a critical role in helping your team build out systems to support Iridium’s internal and external services and functions, utilizing your unique knowledge and skills to collaborate with an amazing team on designated technical projects and internal efforts. You will also have the opportunity to expand your knowledge and skills in Linux, VMware, UCS, and other systems / platforms, gaining valuable experience that will take your career to the next level. What You’ll Do :
- Contribute to the team repsonsible for designing, building and documenting development and production operations systems for Linux / Windows compute and storage environments
- Collaborate with different teams to support the development of systems for multiple projects
- Assist in the development and maintenance of IT Documents (diagrams, procedures,
- Assist the team in gathering requirements for compute and storage needs
- Provide coverage / support for peers on the Engineering and Operations teams. Serve as an escalation point as needed.

This position primarily works in the company office or in a home office. The position is largely sedentary with the majority of the position sitting in a chair and working with a computer. The role uses basic office equipment including a phone, video, computer, keyboard, mouse, and printer.
