Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service and a strong ability to communicate effectively with customers. As a Sales Associate, you will play a vital role in enhancing the shopping experience by assisting customers, managing stock, and promoting products. Your ability to upsell and provide product demonstrations will contribute to the overall success of our store. You will be responsible for taking high quality pictures using our state of the art technology and creating works of art for our guests.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and assist them in participating in getting their photo taken
• Assist guests in locating the best product for them within the store.
• Use our high end camera to take the best quality photo of their iris and use your skills to create beautiful works of art.
• Maintain an organized and well-stocked sales floor by managing inventory levels and restocking shelves as needed.
• Utilize basic math skills to process transactions accurately at the Point of Sale (POS) system.
• Engage with customers through effective communication, providing information about products and services.
• Demonstrate products to customers, highlighting features and benefits to encourage sales.
• Implement upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities while ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the sales area, ensuring a pleasant shopping environment.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly with professionalism and courtesy.
• Exhibit strong phone etiquette when answering calls or assisting customers over the phone.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a retail environment is preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse customer groups.
• Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing stock levels accurately.
• Experience with POS systems is advantageous for efficient transaction processing.
• Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply as this can enhance customer interactions.
• A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to work collaboratively within a team are essential traits for success in this role.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $17.50 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 20 per week
