Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Material Handling Equipment Technician to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining material handling equipment, as well as performing general maintenance and repairs on equipment, buildings, and facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily work orders to minimize equipment downtime and ensure efficient workflow.
- Order necessary parts and perform preventative maintenance to extend the life of our equipment.
- Maintain batteries and charging equipment in good working condition.
- Keep the maintenance shop clean, organized, and well-stocked with necessary supplies.
- Follow all safety standards and policies to ensure a safe working environment.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent experience.
- 3-5 years of experience in HVAC, material handling equipment, and general maintenance in a large warehouse or facility setting.
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate's degree or 2-year technical certification.
- Material Handling Equipment Technician certification.
