Position Summary:
We are seeking two seasoned Industrial/Commercial Superintendents with 10-15 years of experience in construction management. This role is ideal for professionals who are experienced but still eager to learn and adapt. Experience in the food industry and design-build projects is a strong plus. Typical annual salary ranges from $100,000 to $115,000, depending on qualifications.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee field operations, ensuring projects are executed on schedule and within budget.
- Develop and manage comprehensive project schedules.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, architects, and stakeholders on drawings, specifications, and construction deliverables.
- Maintain project budgets, controlling costs and mitigating negative variances.
- Communicate and enforce quality standards with subcontractors and vendors.
- Conduct systematic quality control inspections to uphold construction excellence.
- Ensure job site safety and compliance with OSHA standards and company policies.
- Prepare and manage daily logs and time cards for site personnel.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma required; a degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management is preferred.
- 10-15 years of experience in construction management with a focus on industrial/commercial projects.
- Proven experience with tilt-up, precast, and manufacturing space projects.
- Food industry construction experience and design-build experience are preferred.
- Strong leadership and decision-making skills.
- Effective communication and relationship-building abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
