Iris Memory Care has 3 locations in Oklahoma City, and we are looking to add to our PRN pool of Certified Nurse Aides (CNAs) and Certified Medication Aides (CMAs). We are hosting a hiring event on Tuesday, April 22nd from 9am - 3pm. Please RSVP for a spot on Indeed! The event will be hosted at our Edmond location. The staffing coordinators for all 3 locations will be available and hosting interviews/answering questions.
Our three OKC locations are as follows:
Iris Memory Care of Edmond: 2424 NW 178th, Edmond, OK 73012
Iris Memory Care of Nichols Hills: 8300 N May Ave, OKC, OK 73120
Iris Memory Care of NW OKC: 12000 N MacArthur Blvd, OKC, OK 73162
Rate of pay for CNAs starts at $16 per hour. CMAs start at $17 per hour, and those with advancements in respiratory with an ACMA start at $18 per hour. Rate of pay is negotiable based on experience. Preference will be given to those with memory care experience.
Specific Responsibilities:
Responsible for providing Resident services and other duties as assigned. Duties include personal services, activities of daily living, housekeeping, laundry, social-recreational activities, life enrichment, meal services, and other tasks as needed for Resident care and service delivery.
Primary Essential Job Duties:
- Adheres to and conveys philosophy of supporting dignity, privacy, independence, choice, individuality, and a home-like environment for Residents.
- Assists with activities of daily living/ADL’s, environmental orientation, dining services, life enrichment programs, laundry and housekeeping, meal services, and other care services assigned, while encouraging self-care and independence.
- Maintains clean, neat, comfortable, safe environment for Residents, staff, and visitors.
- Offers comfort and support, emotionally and physically, to Residents.
- Assists with vital signs and weight monitoring monthly or more frequently as required for all Residents and completes all required documentation.
- Puts Resident Service First: Ensures that Residents and families receive the highest quality of service in a caring and compassionate atmosphere, which recognizes the individuals’ needs and rights
- Assists with individual Resident and group social recreational activities.
Qualifications
Job Qualifications:
- Must be an active on the OK Nurse Aide Registry This is a requirement of this position.
- Minimum one year experience in working with older adults as a personal care assistant preferred.
- Twelve (12) plus years of education preferred. High school diploma or GED required.
- At least 18 years old, or older if required per the state regulations.
- Experience with dementia residents preferred.
- Meet continuing education requirements and certifications on job classification and position, including state requirements.
- Ability/willingness to perform all position responsibilities adequately.
Salary : $16 - $18
