- An active Assisted Living Administrator license in good standing with the OK State Board of Examiners for Long-Term Care. This is a requirement of the position.
- Experience working with seniors - experience working in an assisted living community will be prioritized over home health or hospice.
- Experience with staffing, including but not limited to hiring and scheduling.
- Managerial experience.
- Working knowledge of regulations governing Assisted Living Facilities in the State of Oklahoma.

Job Description includes:
Responsible for day-to-day operations of community. Demonstrates knowledge of and ensures compliance with all laws, rules, regulations, policies and procedures. Oversight of all Team Members in the administration and provision of Resident services. Oversight of food services, housekeeping, recreations/life enrichment, and personal care functions. Focus on the areas of Resident care and services, personnel, financial controls, public relations, and maintenance of the physical plant. Supervision of recruiting, interviewing, hiring, evaluating and disciplining community Team Members. Maintains a professional demeanor with all Residents, families and friends, professional referrals and the general public in representing the community. This person will be a leader who will set the vision, the operating philosophy and the tone of the community.
Job Qualifications:
- Experience in managing a program or community for older adults preferred. A minimum of three to five years of supervisory experience required
- High school diploma required. College credits or degree preferred or satisfy state experience requirements.
- Meet continuing education requirements and certifications on job classification and position, including state requirements
- Ability to communicate and work with IRIS Team and all levels of IRIS Team Members and IRIS Department Managers effectively.
- Ability to react quickly and calmly in emergencies.
- Working knowledge of all government regulations impacting IRIS.
- General knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Comprehensive knowledge of employee practices and standards.
- Provide annual verification of a negative TB skin test.
- Ability to recognize and communicate problems appropriately.
- Ability to relate to the public, Residents, families, IRIS Team Members, other professionals appropriately.
- Ability to communicate proficiently in English, verbally and in writing.
- Ability to work flexible hours to meet requirements of the job and be on call.
- Ability to transfer residents.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally; 35 pounds regularly.
- Routinely requires pushing, pulling, bending, walking, reaching, and stooping.
- Maintains car in good working order, current drivers license in good standing, and auto insurance meeting company minimums is current.
- Ability to organize their time, follow-up with the ability to perform job tasks efficiently.
- Ability to teach/train others effectively.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as necessary.
- Ability to maintain accurate records and provide information as requested and required.
